Soto Jiménez says Haitian nationals murdered his uncle

The former Secretary of the Armed Forces, José Miguel Soto Jimenezsaid this Sunday that, according to preliminary reports, Haitian nationals would have murdered his uncle and two more people in La Isabela, Puerto Plata.

Through his Twitter account, Soto JimenezHe said he has no further details about the incident and will go to the scene to obtain more information.

“Preliminary report on the murder of my uncle denounces that Haitians were the ones who killed him, I have no other details, but I am traveling to the site to find out,” he published.

In a previous tweet Soto Jimenez had reported the murder of his paternal uncle Juan José Soto together with two of his employees, on his farm in Rancho Manuel de la Isabela, in Puerto Plata.

The lifeless bodies of Juan José Soto Cornier, 72, owner of the “Josefina” farm, Gilberto Basilio, 63, and an unidentified woman, were found with stab wounds.
