Director of National Audiovisual Communication Service (Secan), Gerardo Sotelo, explained this Tuesday on his Twitter account why Channel 5 deleted from its social networks the original video in which the Minister of the Interior, Luis Alberto Heber, appeared, crashing in a simulator installed at the Expo Prado.
Sotelo assured that the original posting was modified by the journalist himself who “covered the news”, because he considered that “did not adequately reflect the fact.”

On Monday Heber visited the Expo Prado and tried a virtual motorcycle simulator installed by the National Road Safety Unit (Unasev). In the video – which quickly went viral – he looks like the minister crashed in the simulation.

LAfter some media published the images, Channel 5 deleted the tweet and instead uploaded a video in which the crash was not appreciated.
Sotelosaid to have found out what happened with the publication for a tweet posted by Montevideo Portal with the news that video had been deleted.
