Thanks to the quick action of the uniformed officers, the animal, which they named “Sonic”, is now in the process of recovery. The rescue was carried out after a citizen reported the possible presence of an abandoned dog in deplorable conditions on the banks of the sewage, under the bridge in the El Galán neighborhood.
Immediately, the officer and his partner went to the scene, where they found the canine in an obvious state of abandonment and with serious health problems. The police took him to a veterinary center where they performed medical examinations and began appropriate treatment.
