“We are two enterprising women who are passionate about the richness of our Bolivian Amazon, and thanks to the knowledge acquired at the university, we transform them into high-quality cosmetics. We started five years ago, we conditioned three environments, one for production, another for the raw material warehouse and the third, as a warehouse for the finished product, however, over the years these environments became very small and we saw the need to start the construction of a factory, two years ago, we started with the work in the midst of a pandemic, and with God’s help we were able to conclude this great adventure called NatESsent, what seemed like a dream, is now a reality, the laboratory already has with its own infrastructure, with all the regulations and legally established”, explains Sonia Lan.

NatESsent comes from Natural-Essentia, which derives from Latin and means to be or to exist, philosophically it is the best of something, in this case it is the best of natural wealth, transformed into natural cosmetics. Having the letters E and S in capital letters because they are the initials of the name of the founders, Erika and Sonia. And as a slogan they took two words: Simply Natural.

The laboratory has a wide variety of cosmetic body products, scrubs, oils, massage candles, alcohol gel, salt and bath foam, creamy soap, paste soap, moisturizing body milk, plastic masks, solid perfumeexclusive products for salon use during manicures and pedicures, such as effervescent bombs.

Tips. To preserve the properties and effect of these products, certain guidelines must be followed:

Close them after use and keep them in their own container so that the quality is not spoiled. In this way, not only possible contamination with the air will be avoided, but also that the water they contain evaporates and that the product suffers alterations in its composition.

– Beauty products should not be stored in environments that expose them to the sun or humidity. The direct aggression of the sun can alter cosmetics, while humidity favors the proliferation of mold and bacteria. It is always convenient to keep them in a cool and dry place protected from light.

It is necessary to sanitize your hands before handling cosmetics. Those products whose packaging is in a tube, bottle or dispenser are more suitable than pots, since it will avoid inserting fingers into the content, and with it not only the risk of contamination, but also the possibility of altering its characteristics.

– It is always better dispose of used cosmetics during illness, for example, eye makeup if you had conjunctivitis or lipsticks if there was an injury to the lips. This is a good way to avoid contagion.
