A relative of the victim heard gunshots and realized that the person had been attacked. Nearby were Pablo ‘N’, alias ‘El Jarocho’, in a parked vehicle; Julio ‘N’, Giovanny ‘N’ and Miguel ‘N’, the latter who was carrying the firearm. Regarding the other sentenced, their complicity was proven.
“For each one of them, the Eighth Criminal Chamber of the Judiciary of Mexico City confirmed the conviction of 27 years and six months in prison, issued in the first instance by a Criminal Judge based in the Oriente Men’s Prison, for his criminal responsibility in the crime of qualified homicide”, indicated the spokesman.
The subjects must also pay compensation for material and moral damage, funeral expenses and compensation for the death of the person.
‘El Mike’ tried to present an alibi after his arrest by stating that he married the same day of the murder and presented an alleged marriage certificate.
“However, the investigations carried out by the ministerial and police personnel of this Prosecutor’s Office showed that Miguel Ángel ‘N’, alias ‘El MK’ or ‘El Mike’, wanted to distort the investigations,” explained Lara López.
Estefanía ‘N’, sister of ‘El MK’, is on trial for crimes of bribery and against health.
