Some fuel prices are falling; here we tell you

Algunos precios de los combustibles bajan; aquí le decimos

For the week of September 7-13, 2024, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and SMEs (MICM) provides that fuels are marketed at the following prices:

Premium gasoline will be sold at RD$290.10 per gallon, maintaining its price.
Regular Gasoline RD$272.50 per gallon maintains its price.
Regular Gasoil RD$221.60 per gallon maintains its price.
Gasoil Óptimo RD$239.10 per gallon maintains its price.
Avtur RD$185.90 per gallon down RD$2.04.
Kerosene RD$214.50 per gallon down RD$2.20.
Fuel Oil #6 RD$152.50 per gallon down RD$4.31.
Fuel Oil 1%S RD$169.15 per gallon down RD$2.63.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) RD$132.60 per gallon maintains its price.
Natural Gas RD$43.97 per m3 maintains its price.

For this week, the subsidies applied are the following; regular diesel will be subsidized by 9.78 per gallon, optimal diesel: 3.93 pesos per gallon, regular gasoline will be 2.92 per gallon and LPG 14.48 per gallon.

The exchange rate The weekly average is RD$59.88 according to daily publications from the Central Bank.

The Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade, Ramon Perez Fermin, informed citizens this Friday that the government of President Luis Abinader has decided to maintain the extraordinary subsidy for four fuels in order to avoid transferring international increases to consumers, representing a sacrifice for the State of approximately RD$159 million this week.
