With almost a week to go before the Municipal and Regional Elections 2022The Republic will publish the latest poll of voting intention of the Institute of Peruvian Studies (IEPs), which brings great surprises at the end of the campaign.
These results also coincide with the long-awaited municipal debate, organized by the National Election Jurythrough which citizens will be able to learn about the proposals of each of the candidates for mayor of Metropolitan Lima.
It should be noted that, a few weeks ago, the IEPs also posted a poll in which the candidates Daniel Urresti, from Podemos Peru, and Rafael López Aliaga, from Renovación Popular, led. Third place was occupied by George Forsyth (Somos Peru), followed by Omar Chehade (Alliance for Progress) and Carlos Torres (Frepap).
