Some 120,000 people from 4 departments are waiting for sanitary sewerage and treatment plants

Mario Abdo Benítez, President of the Republic, signed a loan contract with the Andean Development Corporation (CAF) to carry out sanitary sewerage works and treatment plants. They will be in charge of the Ministry of Public Works and Communications and are subject to a bill that will be submitted to Parliament.

These works will have an impact on people’s quality of life and the environment, stand out from the Executive

There are 4 cities contemplated in this stage of the project: Carapeguá, San Ignacio, Santa Rita and Santa Rosa del Aguaray. The construction of 4 sanitary sewerage systems is contemplated, with effluent treatment plants, informed Eng. Hugo Ruiz Fleitas, director of Potable Water and Sanitation of the MOPC.
