Delsa Solórzano affirms that the country “is at a critical moment that requires unity among democratic forces to achieve the change that the majority of Venezuelans long for” and, like Ocariz, asserts that Machado and González emerged as “key figures in this new stage” and assures that the Unitary Platform “presents itself as a united front with the commitment to rebuild a free, fair and prosperous Venezuela.”
In the same way, the representative of Encuentro Ciudadano explains that while the change comes, she remains committed to those who have family members detained, persecuted or whose human rights are violated: «My commitment to each one of them is inalienable: I will continue fighting, documenting and demanding justice before international organizations,” he says.
For Solórzano, the call is to “join efforts, inside and outside the country, to consolidate a common cause.” “Venezuelans in exile and international allies are called to work for greater unity around the objective of liberating Venezuela.”
