The new edition of the Kamby Running – Sí a la leche 2022 is already underway. And the good news is that this year it will take place in person on Sunday, September 4, at the Parque Guasu Metropolitano, from 07:30 to 12:00. After two years of betting on the virtual format due to the pandemic (the athletes ran individually in different places and their routes were recorded in a digital application), the long-awaited collective call returns with activities and surprises for both the athletes and their companions.
“Seven years ago we have uninterruptedly said yes to milk, to healthy living, to healthy habits within the framework of this race,” said Erno Becker, president of Capainlac, during the launch of Kamby Running, held at the Protek building.
Kamby Running invites participants to register in three categories: 5k, 10k and Children with distances of 200 meters (for six to twelve years), 400 meters (nine to ten years) and 600 meters (eleven to twelve years).
Registration is open at www.registicket.com, pmcpy.org and at the offices of the Paraguay Marathon Club (Pa’i Pérez 1293 corner Ana Díaz), Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. 00 to 17:00. Participation costs were set at G. 100,000 for children up to twelve years of age and G. 120,000 for persons thirteen years of age and older.
Kamby Running will award medals to all participants and will award a trophy to the first three places in each category (both male and female).
As usual, everything raised this year will be “transformed” into milk for the children of the Conin Foundation (which works on the prevention and recovery of malnutrition in children from zero to five years old) “as we have doing since the first edition of this bullfight”, Becker recalled, later pointing out that to date they have donated more than 120,000 liters of milk.
