Solidarity Income: until when can it be claimed?

The Solidarity Income Program it was designed by the National Government to operate for three months. But due to the Social Investment Law that was approved by Congress, it can be executed until 2022. The law, which was sanctioned by President Iván Duque, increased its coverage from 3 million to 4 million 85,000 beneficiaries.

In this program, households living in extreme poverty in Sisbén IV (Group A) are prioritized. It is important to point out that 64.13% of Colombian families that already receive the monetary transfer are represented by women heads of household.

Until when can the Solidarity Income payment be claimed?

Social Prosperity announced that the people who are beneficiaries of the Solidarity Income Program they will be able to claim their money order until March 25. This payment corresponds to the months of March and April, and is for a value of $380,000.

Where should the Solidarity Income transfer be claimed?

Banked households will receive a message from the bank announcing the availability of the transfer. Unbanked families and new beneficiaries will have payment available through SuperGIROS and its network of allies.

How to know if you are a beneficiary?

People will be able to check if they are beneficiaries of the Solidarity Income Program on the page of incomesolidario.prosperidadsocial.gov.co, Click on the ‘Check your status in the program’ button, which is located at the top right of the page.
