The solidarity grill of the Gigigo Giguens returns on September 7 in Villa Biarritz
The seventh edition will allocate the proceeds to expand the home for the interior oncological patients.
On Sunday, September 7, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Villa Biarritz Park will be the scene of the 2025 Solidarity Grilled of the Pelffo Giguens Foundation, a classic of solidarity that combines gastronomy, live music and activities for the whole family.
In its seventh edition, the event will offer grill, pizzas, vegan options and artisanal desserts of national entrepreneurs, along with a varied musical grid headed by Cumbia Club, in addition to Vicky Ripa, Poppins, Human Rockola, Groove and Agus Giovio. The youngest can enjoy inflatables, soft square, workshops and other surprises.
This year, the proceeds will be used to expand by 50 % the capacity of the home La Campana, which houses and provides psychosocial food and support to cancer patients inside the country who must be installed in Montevideo during their treatments.
Tickets are now available in Red Tickets, where it is also possible to buy consumption in advance, assemble the family menu and avoid rows on the day of the event. There will also be sale in the place.
For 37 years, the Giguens Pelphfo Foundation accompanies people with cancer, seeking to guarantee equal access to treatments. In Uruguay, 47 new daily cases are detected, and more than half correspond to people living outside Montevideo.
