“In any democratic country, the role of the Armed Forces is to defend the country against external attacks. Therefore, it is for this place that we will demand, regardless of whether we are in government or not, that the Armed Forces place themselves”, said the candidate in an interview with the Carta Capital portal.

Sofia Manzano also stated that she is against military actions that involve the civilian population, and says that Brazil needs to discard the concept that concerns the understanding that both the Armed Forces and militarized public security can fight the internal civilian population.

The candidate’s agenda today included interviews with TV Gazeta de São Paulo; to the Capital Charter; recording of the podcast A Deriva, and a live about people with disabilities.
