The candidate for the Presidency of the Republic for the PCB, Sofia Manzano, said today (26) that the good provision of public service involves the end of the Fiscal Responsibility Law and the appreciation of civil servants. In the midst of the campaign agenda she carries out in Maringá (PR), she reiterated the criticism she has made of Brazilian agribusiness.
“Agro is not pop”, said the candidate when classifying the agricultural sector as the “industry of poverty in Brazil”. She also said that she would be the only presidential candidate to “face agribusiness”.
“We will face agribusiness because, in addition to promoting concentration of land in the hands of a few, it does not produce real food, but goods for export. He pays very little tribute and employs very few people. Furthermore, it is responsible for poisoning the rivers; by the toxic products that poison food and workers; and by deforestation and violence in the countryside,” she said in a video posted on Twitter.
On the same social network, Sofia Manzano once again defended the Brazilian public service and the appreciation of servers. “In defense of the public service, for the end of the Fiscal Responsibility Law”, she tweeted when defending the “use of public resources in the valorization of state public services”.
The candidate gave interviews to Rádio Pinga Fogo shortly before heading to the Milton Santos School of Agroecology (MST). Even today, she will make leaflets and participate in a debate on political crisis and construction of popular power at the Teachers’ Association of the State University of Maringá.
