The Socialist Youth of Barinasfollowing the guidelines of President Nicolás Maduro, promotes two important initiatives to strengthen youth participation: the “First Camp for Peace and Anti-Fascist Struggle” and a forceful call to vote in the elections for justices of the peace.
From December 12 to 14, more than 250 young people will participate in the Camp for Peace, a political training space with five workshops that will address issues of national and international relevance.
This event seeks to strengthen the leading and democratic participation of youth, uniting the structures of the Great Patriotic Pole, the Young Venezuela Mission, and other youth organizations in the state. The camp will also serve as preparation to defend the government’s achievements and accompany the inauguration of President Nicolás Maduro on January 10.
As a second crucial issue, José Salvador Chávez, spokesperson for international affairs of the Socialist Youth in Barinas, called for the active participation of all young people over 15 years of age in the elections for justices of the peace next Sunday, December 15. . He urged youth to exercise their right to vote and elect representatives of their communities, thus contributing to the consolidation of participatory democracy.
Finally, Chávez recalled the holding of the World Antifascist Festival, from January 6 to 16, with the presence of international spokespersons who will accompany the presidential inauguration and show the reality of Venezuela to the world.
