He defined the labor reform like a national aspiration “long awaited and necessary” for strengthen protection of workers, guarantee the sustainability of the system and increase the quality of the services that citizens receive.
“The president of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, will promote, within the tripartite framework and with the broadest social consensusa social security reform that is fair and reliable for everyone, especially for workers,” said the head of Labor.

At the event, the Ministry of Labor Dominican received recognition for his performance at the head of the Ibero-American Social Security Organization (OISS) during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic.
