Social Security Fund graduates more than 60 new specialists and subspecialists

A total of sixty-six new doctors, including specialists and subspecialists, will conclude their residency period at the “Dr. Arnulfo Arias Madrid” (CHDr.AAM), which will accredit them as specialists and subspecialists, reported Dr. Aarón Benzadón, deputy director of Teaching and Research at this hospital.

Among the medical professionals who graduate there are fifty-four specialists and twelve subspecialists, indicated Benzadón, who also pointed out that the CSS strengthens the health system taking into account that these new specialists will be an important pillar in medical care in the different country areas.

The CSS has been committed since 1962 to teaching and training specialists and subspecialists in the institution’s hospitals. The graduation ceremony for these professionals will take place on Friday, June 17, at a local hotel, and among the specialties and subspecialties that will conclude this residency period are: orthopedics, pediatrics, dermatology, gastroenterology, neurology, angiology, cardiology , neonatology and ophthalmology.
