In recent times, Social Prosperity has been actively alerting beneficiariesyes, from social networks, on various fraudulent schemes targeting them. In order to avoid scams and the theft of your monetary transfers from the entity, they provided some important recommendations to be warned and not fall into the hands of criminals.
In one of the statements issued from the “X” account of Social Prosperity, they indicated which are the official numbers from which the entity can be contacted and asked that they be alert to deceptions.

The types of scams that Social Prosperity detected:
1. Fake accounts that claim to be associated with social programs, such as “Renta Ciudadana Cartagena”, that do not belong to Social Prosperity
2. Messages and calls from people posing as officials, requesting personal information or payments to access benefits

3. False announcements about the selection of beneficiaries of programs such as Ingreso Solidario, which has already concluded its transfers
4. Official communication channels: Social Prosperity emphasizes that all legitimate communications will come through official channels, specifically those ending in .GOV.CO. They advise beneficiaries not to share personal information or respond to unsolicited requests via email or social media.

5.Legal actions: The organization is taking legal action against those who exploit its name for fraudulent purposes and continues to reinforce its commitment to transparency and integrity in its operations.
Recipients are advised to report any suspicious activity and always verify information through official sources to avoid falling victim to scams.
