During 2024, the federal investment for well -being programs was just over 514 billion pesos, says the closing report of the fiscal year of the Ministry of Welfare. The figure equivalent to 1.51 points of the GDP last year, which calculations of the Ministry of Finance estimate in 33.9 billion pesos.
According to the report (the 2024 quarterly fourth prepared by the agency), these social programs benefited 14.6 million people.
The document includes five social programs: pension for older adults, pension for people with disabilities, support for the well -being of girls and boys boys of working mothers, sowing life and the program for the well -being of people in social or natural emergency.
The data indicates that the one that received the greatest resources was the pension for older adults, with an exercise during the last year of 442 thousand 459.12 million pesos, equivalent to 85 percent of the budget that was allocated to these five well -being programs.
As of December 31, economic pensions were paid to 12 million 247 thousand 766 older adults, as part of the program for that sector, which is already a constitutional right. The Ministry of Welfare indicated that the figure represented 99.97 percent of beneficiaries with economic pensions issued (12 million 251 thousand 797).
Of the total beneficiaries, 6 million 761 thousand 509 are women (55.21 percent) and 5 million 486 thousand 257 are men (44.79 percent). Also, one million 62 thousand 446 people (8.67 percent) reside in municipalities or indigenous or Afromexican municipalities.
In 2024, the beneficiaries of this program bimonthly received 6 thousand pesos.
Between January and December of last year, 681 thousand 951 incorporations to the national scale were recorded.
For the pension program for people with disabilities in 2024, 25 thousand 662.92 million pesos were invested and registered one million 451 thousand 941 right holders who received a support of 3 thousand 100 pesos every two months.
Of the total people who received support, 42.87 percent are women (622 thousand 379) and 57.13 percent are men (829 thousand 562); In addition, 257 thousand 140 beneficiaries (17.71 percent) live in an indigenous, African -American or high or very high degree of marginalization.
Sowing life last year received an investment of 35 thousand 220.21 million pesos.
During the fiscal year of 2024, this program attended to 446 thousand 738 people who received 5,250 pesos per month.
The support program for the well -being of girls and boys boys of working mothers attended in the period referring to 270 thousand 256 small and a budget of 2,460 million pesos was allocated.
The resources were delivered under two schemes: one for children who receive 1,600 bimonthly pesos, plus 3,600 in case the child has some disability; And the second of helping children and young people in maternal orphanage, with which 800 pesos are delivered to children up to 15 years of age, one thousand 90 to young people from 16 to 18 years and 1,200 to those from 19 to 23.
Finally, in its report, the Ministry of Welfare explained that the Welfare for the Welfare of Persons in Social or Natural Emergency 8,65,82 million pesos were allocated.
