This September 8 will present the 2026 economic package, the second of the administration of the first woman in the presidency.
According to the federal president, this economic package has the axes of fiscal discipline, the strengthening of the collection and guarantee of social programs. He ruled out the creation of new taxes, because he considers that there is still margin for collection.
“Decrease further affectation due to false invoices, which still exist and that we are putting many locks, apart from the SAT, to prevent these false bills; in addition to the fact that now the false invoice is already a serious crime,” he said.
A second element that will help increase collection, he said, is the Customs Law, which will also be presented.
“The second is customs, these two actions will allow us even more tax evasion and they already come in the budget and are presented in the Customs Law together,” he added.
On Tuesday, the Secretary of Finance and Public Credit, Édgar Amador, will attend the morning conference to present the essential issues of the economic package.
