This initiative proposed by social organizations will be carried out in front of the National Congressunder the slogan “No family without Christmas”. In addition, the entities that care about the disadvantaged will also claim for the implementation of the National Law for People in Street Situation.
This bill, aimed at homeless families who do not even have a roof to shelter in, was already dealt with in the National Congresspunctually obtained the sanction of the Chamber of Deputies, the low camera. However, this sanction occurred a year ago and today it is paralyzed.
An important detail is that the same social organizations that planned the dinner for homeless people announced that “the call for volunteers and requests for donations are open” for said meeting on Christmas Eve.
The conveners explained in a statement that “as every year, this December 24, social organizations will carry out the Christmas Eve dinner together with homeless people and homeless families in Plaza Congreso, under the slogan ‘No family without Christmas ‘”.
They also stated in the statement the following: “We know that these are very important dates with a strong symbolic charge for many, which is why we ask you to help us make a great Christmas table possible for the last of the last.”
Juan Grabois as president: “I would like to”
In an interview on the part of the Animales Sueltos (América) program, Juan Grabois explained that in the context of the sentencing of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, it would be “kind of unpleasant to talk about candidacies” and compared this action to “sharing the inheritance” of a relative deceased.
However, he was asked if he wanted at some point in his life to be president of the Argentine Nation, to which he replied: “I would like, better than the one that is now (Alberto Fernández) and the one that was before (Mauricio Macri) I’m sure I’m going to do it, at least I have three ideas.”
Grabois’s ideas explained in his own words are: “I believe in Latin American unity, what must be done like the European Union: unify the currency, have a regional central bank, unify the educational system, passports.” On the other hand, he talked about getting enough power not to be overwhelmed by the International Monetary Fund.
