A group of social organizations of national scope is holding a congress “for Land and Decent Housing” this Saturday in Plaza de Mayo, where they discuss proposals around this housing problem throughout the country.
This was announced to Télam by spokespersons of the Popular Movement (MP) La Dignidad, who indicated that the meeting -of a national nature- takes place from 10 o’clock in Plaza de Mayo.
“Together with national social organizations and more than fifty territorial entities from different provinces, along with dozens of fighters for the urbanization of popular neighborhoods throughout the country, we will be participating in this new congress,” the organizers advanced.
Rafael Klejzer, director of Integrative Policies of the Ministry of Social Development and referent of the Popular Movement (MP) La Dignidad, is one of the exhibitors of the day in the historic square.
Also present are representatives of different factions of the Movement of Unemployed Workers (MTD) Aníbal Verón, of the Darío Santillán Popular Front (FPDS), the organizations Pueblo Libre de Rosario; Social Parity; Popular Liberation, League of Free Peoples, the Tenants Association, and the Sovereign Group, among others.
About the event, Marina Joski, national secretary of Women and Diversity of the Union of Workers of the Popular Economy (UTEP) and coordinator of the Popular Movement La Dignidad, said: “Turning the destiny of our country implies reversing the processes of land concentration that marked the history of Argentina, based on the looting and dispossession of the territory and of our peoples.
