Calls for registrations for baskets of supplies
With some changes in relation to previous years, the Social Construction Fund will contribute to its members for a new school year.
As announced, registration for baskets of study supplies for preschool-aged children, schoolchildren and middle school children began this Monday, December 1.
In Cerro Largo, applications are received at the Cerro Largo Departmental Headquarters of SUNCA, now located on Colón Street between Mata Boulevard and Doroteo Navarrete.
“We are beginning the registration period to receive the basket of sets of school or high school supplies. We start at 9:30 a.m. and we are going to continue until 6:30 p.m. We are going to do a regular schedule from Monday to Friday until December 22. Then we will have the break for the construction license, resuming the task on January 15 to finish definitively on the 29th” recalled Walter Moraiz.
“This year we have to take the deadlines into account because there will be no date for latecomers. The company that won the Tender – El Clon – will not make more than one delivery,” he told EL PROFESIONAL Diario.
The Social Construction Fund – made up of the union and the employers – made a call for prices for what will be the next delivery of supplies to children and adolescents, children of workers.
“The documentation we are requesting is the worker’s salary receipt, the Identity Card of the minor, a report card from the Lyceum or UTU or Primary if they attend school,” highlighted the Departmental Reference of the Social Fund.
The certificate that certifies that the child or adolescent is studying can be obtained on the Gurí Platform of the Central Board of Directors of the ANPEP. “It is not necessary to wait for the end of classes, you can download it now, even before they close it” held.
“This benefit is extended to all workers who contribute to the Social Construction Fund,” he stressed. “Having worked one or two months during the current year, it is the same for them,” he assured.
NEARLY THOUSAND BENEFICIARIES
“Today, with the work of the LUMIN Company that is being done in Melo, we are going to have around 1,000 workers,” estimated Walter Moraiz.
“This would represent a significant increase. In previous years we were at 600 or 700, but this time we are going to increase a lot,” he highlighted.
“This is a benefit for preschoolers, schoolchildren and high school students, whether at UTU or high schools,” he stressed.
Moraiz asked workers who have any type of doubt to go to the SUNCA headquarters. “The couple’s children also have the right. In that case, they must bring us the mother’s ID if they do not have the possession certificate. A solution is always sought.”
It should be noted that the Social Construction Fund does not depend solely on the union, it is also made up of representatives of the Business Chamber. “The awards or not depend on the Fund and not on the Departmental Directorates” said.
“This year there will be no major obstacles because since a private company is the winner, the issue will be streamlined much more so that no one is left without the supplies,” he said.
This is the main procedure that is being carried out these days, beyond the fact that affiliated workers continue to be informed and advised on other options such as loans, FOCER, FOCAP and FOSVOC.
