The Cuban soccer players Marcel Hernández and Luis Paradela were chosen this Tuesday as the best foreign players of the Clausura 2022 and Apertura 2021 tournaments, respectively, of the first division of Costa Rica.
According to a report from the agency Latin Press (PL), at the gala award to the best soccer players of the Central American nation, divided into the two local tournaments, Marcel also obtained the Scorer award, with 16, and best player of Clausura 2022; as well as recognition for having become the top foreign scorer in the first division of Costa Rica, with 95.

The Cartaginés team, in which the Havana striker plays, received the parchment as national champion of the 2022 Closing Tournament, thus breaking a losing streak of 81 years without bringing a Cup to the showcase of the team founded in 1906.
