And it is that through the External Circular 013 of 2024the validity of the Mandatory Traffic Accident Insurance (Soat) for foreign vehiclesallowing insurance to be purchased for days according to the time of circulation in the country.

It is worth mentioning that the Superfinanciera had previously established that the minimum validity of the Soat would be 15 days. However, It was established that the accident rate of vehicles that circulate through border areas is not significant.
