Residents of the lower area of Nevado de Toluca face the low temperatures and falling snow well protected, with stoves and hot drinks. In the houses in the lower part you can see smoke from the spindle of wood stoves or stoves.
Tourists from different parts of the Mexican entity and from other states came to the Nevado de Toluca to enjoy the snowy landscape, some were able to enjoy the snow in the Parque de los Venados and others stayed at the main entrance and had to walk.
A snowy spectacle could be seen at the Xinantécatl Volcano after the first snowfall of the winter season was recorded, the lower part of the Nevado de Toluca could be seen with snow up to 5 cm thick and in the upper part of the colossus it could be seen observe a slight layer.
Chihuahua
According to the state’s Civil Protection, snow, sleet and freezing rain are expected from January 8 to 10 in the state, especially in the mountain region. Minimum temperatures range from -2°C to -5°C in northern, central and southern areas; and from -10°C to -15°C in the mountain region.
