On December 24, the children of Zipaquirá will enjoy a ‘Merry Christmas’ thanks to the multiple champion Egan Bernal.

The Colombian cyclist Egan Bernal communicated through his Instagram account that on December 24 he will be in his native Zipaquirá, delivering gifts and smiles to the children.
“As is his custom on December 24, Egan gets up early to train and then in the afternoon he goes to a neighborhood in Zipaquirá to deliver gifts to some children” was the message shared by the account of the cyclist’s work team.

According to the message, the meeting with the children will be in the afternoon after the cyclist completes his training.
So far the place where Egan will meet the children in Zipaquirá is not known.
It is not the first time that the cyclist is going to give gifts to the children of the municipality of Zipaquirá, in previous years Egan and several friends have brought smiles to various corners of the city where he was born.

Egan hails from Zipaquirá and has always been proud of his humble origins.
The cyclist is in Colombia preparing for the 2022 cycling season; this year Bernal managed to get the title of the tour of Italy and occupied the sixth box in the tour of Spain.
