He went crazy, was firing his gun and when his neighbor asked him to stop, Francisco Oropeza entered his residence and killed five of his neighbors, including an 8-year-old boy. The deceased were Honduran, the murderer was Mexican. The massacre occurred in Texas.
According to the FBI, they continue to search for Oropeza, since once the crime was committed, he fled the scene.
They noted that the Houston and Bryan Resident agencies are providing tactical, investigative and victim service resources to assist the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Office with Oropeza’s capture. “We will be here until they capture Francisco Oropeza,” they said.
It should be noted that the 38-year-old Mexican, who appears in the photograph, shot his victims with a rifle.
