Skate park inaugurated in Sopó, Cundinamarca

The municipality of Sopo (Cundinamarca) opened the doors of its new skating rink with a skate park located in the La Trinidad Sports Recreation Complex.

The scenario complies with the technical parameters and guidelines for optimal performance that will strengthen the processes of the Skating Sports Training School of which 350 children from different categories of initiation, training, specialization and projection of high performance.

The skating rink facilities will also open schedules for free practice; people who skate enhance endurance, strength and tone their muscles.

The infrastructure had an investment close to $2,000 million financed by the Ministry of Sport and the municipal administration headed by the Mayor Miguel Alejandro Rico.

This important news regarding sports offers the possibility for Sopó to host major tournaments, professional competitions and championships.

“We have believed in sports as a life project, generating smiles in the children of Sopos, and we will continue working to comply with the Development plan:’SOops It’s Our Time‘”, said the president of Sopó.

Similarly, it is announced that more works will be inaugurated in the municipality over these two years.
