The councilor Andrea Huamani, reported that on Thursday night there was an armed attack against his grandparents’ homelocated in the district of San Juan de Miraflores. According to what he said, two criminals tried to enter the property and later fired shots at the house.
Huamaní indicated that the attack occurred when she arrived at her relatives’ house after shopping and was able to observe the subjects trying to force entry into the apartment. According to their testimony, the attackers were asking for a person who does not live there. “I saw that two subjects were trying to enter (…) they were looking for a person named Isaac. They shot,” said the councilor.

The municipal authority stated that the criminals did not manage to enter the property, but before fleeing they fired shots at the main door. In the event, a person who accompanied the councilor was physically attacked by the attackers.
Huamani She ruled out that the attack was linked to her work as councilor and assured that she has not received prior threats nor has she been a victim of extortion. “Not at all, I have never received calls or messages.” he pointed out.
The case has already been brought to the attention of the National Policewhich began investigations to identify those responsible and determine the circumstances of the attack. “My grandparents are calmer since it was a mistake,” he added.
