A boy of approximately 6 years old, and of Venezuelan nationality, died in the Tres Bocas area, province of Darién at the hands of a group of armed criminals who were dedicated to robbing migrants who used this route.
According to the National Border Service (Senafront), a group of migrants was assaulted by foreigners in combination with indigenous Panamanians and as a result of the assault two people were injured (a man and a woman) and the infant died.

The authorities explained that they maintain operations to find those responsible for the death of the minor. Preliminarily, in an operation carried out in the Tuqueza sector and on the Trocha towards Colombia, a 380-caliber weapon was located in the community of Marranganti, in addition to illicit substances.
