Two brothers, two friends and a student were killed with firearms last Sunday morning in the Sucre municipality, Miranda, according to reports.
Three of the six killed are identified as Luis Ángel Montilla Ascanio (21), Germán José Volcán (24) and Eduard Pérez (27), who were passing through zone 2 of the José Félix Rivas neighborhood, Petare, where they were fatally shot. Luis Ángel and Germán knew each other.
In the Lebrún sector, Francisco de Miranda avenue, the brothers Ignacio José (22) and Elvis Antonio León Figuera (37), who worked as butchers in Baloa, were murdered. Ignacio and Elvis were in front of a restaurant in the sector where an argument arose, in the middle of which a man pulled out a firearm and shot each of the brothers, a situation that caused their death on the spot.
Meanwhile, Giovanni Josué González Martínez (16), a 4th year high school student, was shot in the forehead when he was at a party that took place in the Negro Primero sector, Caucagüita, Sucre municipality (Miranda).
The badly injured young man was taken to the Domingo Luciani hospital where he died on Sunday morning, according to relatives.
Until now, the police authorities have not reported people arrested for those six homicides.
