Six arrested for recruiting young people for sexual exploitation

Three men and three women were arrested in Valencia (Carabobo) for allegedly being linked to a network dedicated to the recruitment of young people for sexual exploitation, according to military sources.

The procedure was carried out at the El Prado service station located in the capital of Carabobo under investigation No. MP-161426-2022.

At the site, the agents of the Bolivarian National Guard retained an Izuzu mini bus, model NT610AIR, white, license plate 591AA7A.

In said vehicle were Kerman José Gómez Mundaray, Argenis Alexander Valencia Martínez, Yordanis Santana Castillo, Yovany José Seijas Vargas, Yusmairy Alejandra Gutiérrez Sichaga and Danyerlin Caroli Veraza Mujica.

These people allegedly were preparing to search for and transfer three adolescents with false documentation to the Republic of Colombia for their sexual exploitation, according to the investigations.

The detainees will be prosecuted for the crime of human trafficking.
