The Regional Ministerial Secretariat of Cultures of the Valparaíso Region confirmed the nomination of Patricia Mix Jiménez as the new maximum regional authority of said division. Along these lines, they highlighted that the nominee is a professor with a degree in Philosophy, oral narrator and community entertainer.
“He has developed a vast trajectory in the fields of training, management and cultural production, creation, interpretation and research,” they reported from the secretariat. This appointment has been questioned in recent days, due to the relationship of the new Seremi authority with the official deputy Claudia Mix, of the Comunes party.
In dialogue with ThirdPatricia Mix ruled out that her nomination was due to nepotism, since “nepotism has to do with the installation of families or groups of power that what they seek is to facilitate, through State channels, the businesses that the family has. That is the deep and political sense of the concept”.
