The Comprehensive Health Insurance (SIS) of the Ministry of Health (Minsa), through RJ No. 000136-2024-SIS/J approved directive No. 004-2024-SIS/GREP.V01, which integrates benefit coverage in health, in its five insurance plans.
These plans are included in the free and semi-contributory regimes. Thus, all SIS insured will have access to health services such as medical care, supplies, medical devices and laboratory and imaging tests, included in the Essential Health Insurance Plan (PEAS) and Complementary Plan.

What are the benefits?
More than 12 thousand diagnoses are covered, including the treatment of cancer, chronic kidney failure, as well as rare and orphan diseases through Fissal.
Its application is mandatory for all Health Services Providing Institutions (Ipress) such as specialized institutes, hospitals, health centers and posts, throughout the country. It is expected that it will benefit more than 27 million policyholders.
