Since his kidnapping, Maduro sends a message of confidence in Delcy and the government team

The deputy to the National Assembly, Nicolás Maduro Guerra, transmitted this Tuesday a message sent by President Nicolás Maduro from New York where he is being held captive by the United States, where he reaffirmed his firmness and his total support for the acting president Delcy Rodríguez.

«Yesterday we had a message from him and her; They tell us that they are firm and strong, that they are clear about the role of struggle that they have to play, that they have peace of mind and faith in God and the people of Venezuela. They trust Delcy, the team in charge and us. That was the message they sent us yesterday,” Maduro Guerra transmitted from the great march of the transportation sector in Caracas.

In that sense, the parliamentarian urged the Venezuelan people not to fall into divisive campaigns and to trust only official sources to preserve the tranquility of the nation. «We must stay united and not let anything divide us. They will try to stir up trouble and say things to confuse, but before that: political and ideological clarity,” he emphasized.

Likewise, the deputy called on transporters in Venezuela and the world to reject the bombing against the country, denouncing that with this attack the United States violated all international codes.

The bombs do not distinguish between Chavistas and opponents

For his part, the Minister of Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, joined the call for unity and recalled that the attacks do not discriminate political ideologies at the time of impact.

«We have to talk to those who are confused, because we realized that the bombs, when they fell, were not for Chavistas nor for opponents; They affected everyone equally. We must be aware that President Nicolás Maduro, commander in chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, wants the people to remain in peace,” the minister said during his speech.

Finally, he highlighted the courage of the Venezuelan people, who have been mobilized in the streets since last January 3 to request the release of the presidential couple, ratifying their loyalty to the national government led by the acting president Delcy Rodríguez.

Large caravan for the liberation of Maduro and Flores

Workers in the Transportation sector mobilized this Tuesday in various parts of the capital to demand the release of President Nicolás Maduro and the first combatant, Cilia Flores. On the day they expressed the union’s repudiation of the US military attack on January 3 and denounced the violation of national sovereignty.

The transporters concentrated at different points in the capital such as the Poliedro de Caracas and the Bicentennial Monument. Other groups gathered on Avenida Bolívar, specifically in Parque Carabobo and in front of the National Museum of Architecture (Musarq), in addition to the Paseo de la Revolución, to form a single column towards the center of the city.
