Until this March 14, there will be scattered rains and downpours with potential electrical activity over: Chiriquí, Bocas del Toro, Veraguas, the Ngábe Buglé region, Darién and the Emberá Wounaan region, reported the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc).
He added that, for the rest of the country, less intense and frequent rains and showers are expected.
According to a surveillance notice from the Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology of Panama (IMHPA), there is little incursion of the trade winds over the country, due to the organization and strengthening of low pressure and troughs towards the Pacific Ocean. Warnings are given in a moderate way about sudden flooding of rivers and streams in the aforementioned areas.
Sinaproc warns to be careful in the face of these conditions and to stay informed through the official information accounts of the emergency and security departments.
