52 professionals, technicians, doctors, specialists in disaster care, identification and search for people, and canines are deployed in Türkiye and Syria.

Another team from the Simón Bolívar Humanitarian Task Force arrived in Syria on Thursday, where they were received by the Venezuelan ambassador to that country, José Gregorio Biomorgi Muzattiz.

Rescue force in support of Türkiye and Syria
The Venezuelan rescue force includes the canine brigade, Los Angeles highway, Civil Protection and Firefighters, among others. More than 23 tons of food and medicine were also sent to the affected villages.
According to the United States Geological Survey, the epicenter of the earthquakes on Monday was located 30 kilometers from the Turkish city of Gaziantep (south), near the border with Syria.
