San Pedro de Macoris.- The first solidarity advertising network in WhatsApp states between small and new entrepreneurs (RedEmprende) began collecting signatures for local and national authorities to build the Plaza del Emprendedor Petromacorisano.
“Today we begin the collection of signatures for the authorities to build the Plaza del Emprendedor Petromacorisano since said work will benefit the entire population of San Pedro de Macorís,” said Richard Quiñonez, founder of the network of entrepreneurs that brings together 180 novice merchants of the whole country.
“This work will save entrepreneurs time and money; It will help them increase their physical sales that do not exist today due to the general failure of the bazaars in which they participate”, added Quiñonez.
He explained that this space will also help the general population as it will provide them with a place where they can make recurring purchases from small entrepreneurs. “There are many people who want to buy from entrepreneurs, but there is no specific place where these people can make that wish come true; the Plaza del Emprendedor Petromacorisano, will put an end to this problem and will bring economic dynamism and social well-being to our people”, he added.
He stressed that a team will be created to collect signatures that will go out into the streets, visit homes and will be located in strategic places with a table where anyone who identifies with the cause can sign.
“For example, if a member of RedEmprende lives in Barrio Blanco and is not in the central team to collect signatures, the day the team goes to Barrio Blanco that partner will join and help the team. Similarly, all entrepreneurs and citizens in general may request sheets to collect signatures.
Richard Quiñonez spoke during the celebration of the second anniversary of the group of entrepreneurs, an event in which dozens of members of RedEmprende participated and the entrepreneurs Josmari Peña and Elizabeth Carrión were recognized as coordinator and secretary of the Year 2022, respectively.
