The Minister of Public Administration, Sigmund Freund Mena, explained that the fiscal modernization project seeks to positively impact the Dominican Republic.
Also to the most needy sectors in order to raise or generate more resources to invest in projects, infrastructure and sensitive areas that the country is needing.
He highlighted that the president has demonstrated determination, courage and bravery that no other ruler in the Dominican Republic had done.
“Since 2012, the National Strategy and Development Law established the mandatory nature of the Fiscal Pact and we had to wait 12 years because none of the previous governments had decided to make this decision and the president did so and that can only be about the band of a president who has the vision, who has a commitment to Dominican society to improve public services,” said Freund Mena.
