The orchestra will perform under the direction of the
Master Miguel Angel Gilardi
with the participation of soloists Melisa Cingolani on piano, Javier Acosta on guitar, Iñigo Herrera on flute, Gabriel Graziani on oboe and Hilaria Ferrari on bassoon.
The program includes works by Sibelius, Mozartthe premiere of two songs by the Beatles in the version for guitar and strings by the great Cuban guitarist and composer Leo Brower, works by Piazzolla including Goodbye Nonino with the original cadenza for piano that the composer wrote and a tribute to Jose Asuncion Flores.
The orchestra includes Carlos T. González, Esteban Giménez, Ana Sofía Gómez, Josías Ortega, Sannie Martínez, Letizia Molina, Adan Aquino, Talina Penayo, on violins; Federico Hidalgo and Arnaldo Valdez, on violas; Cristina Perina and Yejin Park on cellos; and Martín Portillo on double bass.
The
CCPA Youth Chamber Orchestra
It is a program with the characteristics of an orchestra-school, which offers young people the opportunity to receive high-level musical training and the possibility of entering the professional field.
It began in 2003 and since 2004 it has continuously performed its seasonal concerts as well as tours inside and outside the country.
The artists are selected by contest every two years during which they have the opportunity to practice instrumental ensembles with advanced repertoire and contact with great masters of music. Several of them and they today, are members of renowned youth musical groups in the capital and the interior of the country.
