Bolivia already has its short-sized soccer team to compete in the first edition of the Intercontinental Cupwhich will take place from November 29 to December 3 in El Colegio, a municipality in the department of Cundinamarca, in Colombia.
To form the national team, at the end of October a microcycle was held in the city of Sucre and in the next few hours DT Carlos Alberto Trujillo will announce the payroll summoned for this international tournament.
The selections of Spain, Peru, Guatemala, Ecuador, USA, Morocco, Bolivia and Colombia.
“President Luis Arce promised to support us with the tickets for the players through the Vice Ministry of Sports, but for the rest of the delegation we are going to need support, hopefully the Bolivian Football Federation can do it”, said Olivia Ojopi, delegate of the Bolivian team.
The 14 players who will be summoned, in addition to the coaching staff, will be concentrated in Santa Cruz on November 25 to work a couple of days prior to the trip to the event venue.
In the Copa America 2022, the short-statured Bolivian team ranked fourth in the tournament held in Peru, where Argentina won the title, followed by Paraguay and Mexico.
