Police found a man dead inside a vehicle; Scientific Police counted at least a dozen shell casings

A man was found dead by police in the Hippodrome Gardens neighborhood (Montevideo), after the police have gone to the scene for a report of a shooting. The body is found inside a vehicle.
Witnesses to the event saw that there was a shooting attack on a vehicle. The car of the attackers appeared abandoned a few blocks from the place.
Two policemen who were passing by heard the shots, saw them and chased the criminals, who remain at large. There was an exchange of gunfire.
A patrol car was injured by a gunshot. No police officers were injured.
The Scientific Police recorded at least a dozen shell casings from a firearm.
