Shooting in Villa Duarte: man linked to the event surrenders

The National Police reported this Tuesday that Albert Ricardo Peña Feliz27 years old, alias “La Pipa”, surrendered voluntarily after being identified as one of those allegedly involved in the shooting that occurred in the Simonico sector, Villa Duarte, in the municipality of Santo Domingo Este, which left two dead and one injured woman.

The incident occurred on the night of December 11 and claimed the lives of a 10-year-old boy and a 63-year-old woman, while another woman was injured by gunshot wounds.

In one press releasethe institution explained that Peña Feliz appeared at the Palace of the National Policeaccompanied by relatives.

The detainee was received by the entity’s spokesperson, Diego Pesqueira, who assured that his rights will be guaranteed. constitutional rightsin accordance with due process, on behalf of the general director of police, Major General Ramón Antonio Guzmán Peralta.
