Shooting on Rua Frei Caneca, in the center of Rio de Janeiro, at one of the accesses to the Morro da Mineira community, on the night of this Wednesday (18), left three people shot, including a child, and one dead, Marcos Vinícius Gomes Marinho.
According to the State Secretariat of Military Police, the victims were rescued and taken to the Military Police Central Hospital and Souza Aguiar Hospital and policing was reinforced in the region.
According to the Civil Police, the case was initially registered at the 6th DP (Cidade Nova), but after confirmation of the death, it was forwarded to the Capital Homicide Police Station (DHC). Investigations are underway to clarify the circumstances of the crime.
