Shooting in Riberalta leaves two dead and several injured

A tragic event shocked the residents of the Benian municipality of Riberalta on Tuesday afternoon, a few hours before Christmas Eve. ORA shooting claimed the lives of two people and left others injured.

According to the preliminary report of the Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc), The incident occurred after 3:00 p.m. in the Torito neighborhood, where the two victims were: a Bolivian citizen and another Brazilian.

Neighbors in the area reported that they heard several gunshots and that, when they left their houses, They found the body of one of the deceased on the sidewalk. The other deceased was found inside a building, where the shooting took place.

The gunshot wounds were taken to the Riberalta municipal hospital. While the two lifeless bodies They were lifted by members of the Felcc, who came to collect evidence to begin investigations to clarify the violent incident.
