A shootout between motorcycles around 7:00 p.m. on Thursday between “two or three motorcycles” on Calle Instrucciones del Año XIII in Durazno interrupted a baby soccer practice by the La Lanera clubaccording to El País, while 12 children from the 2013 category trained.
“The shots started and I told the kids to hide behind a table we have for the judges,” coach Mirko Román told Telemundo. “The children at that moment were nervous. Some wanted to leave and they left, their parents took them,” he added.
The president of the La Lanera club told Telemundo while the parents were “very moved.”
