A 6.9 earthquake was registered this Sunday at 228 km SW of Apia, in Samoa, which caused the monitoring of national agencies to anticipate if there is a tsunami alert on the coasts of our country.
The Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service of the Navy (SHOA) reported that the telluric movement registered in the Pacific Ocean does not meet the necessary conditions to generate a tsunami off the coast of Chile.
