Nicaraguan beauty Sheynnis Palacios, Miss Universe 2023, arrived on the night of September 11 at the Jorge Chávez International Airport, located in the city of Callao, Peru.
The most beautiful woman in the universe will be in Peru from September 11 to 16, the Miss Universe organization announced on its social media.
According to local media, Palacios was invited by the Miss Peru organization, headed by Jessica Newton, to support the promotion of tourism in that country and to participate in charitable social activities, including the inauguration of a House for Women, aimed at empowering and training Peruvian women.

In addition, they report that it is the first time in seven years that a Miss Universe has come to Peru, a country that became the 31st of the places that Palacios has visited since she was crowned in November 2023.

The Nicaraguan beauty was welcomed with great enthusiasm from the moment she arrived at Jorge Chávez International Airport. Dozens of people, who were only held back by mesh barriers placed by the airport security, shouted “Sheynnis, Sheynnis,” while asking Miss Universe 2023 to come closer and take photos with them.

Most of those present carried Nicaraguan and Peruvian flags, as well as blue and white balloons, according to some stories shared by the Miss Universe organization through its official networks.
Miss Peru, through its official social networks, also extended a public welcome to the Nicaraguan beauty.
Palacios shared on her social media some of the details she received upon arriving at the hotel in Peru, including floral arrangements and cakes with her face on them.
