Sheynnis Palacios, Miss Universe 2023 is located in Mexico and as part of its activities prior to the concentration of the world beauty pageant, it is carrying out a media tour among which are important international networks and programs such as Telemundo and TVAzteca, Palacios has taken advantage of the opportunity to provide a message in favor of mental health, the main issue of his reign.
Within the agenda, the Nicaraguan visited programs such as Ventaneando, Al Extremo, La Academia (reality show) among others, in which he took the opportunity to promote the international event. But it was on the program “Imagen Radio” that Palacios was confronted by two presenters on issues of beauty, which the diriambina “managed to overcome.”
In response to the question of presenter Santiago Vizl, What is the difference between the character who sits down to answer questions and the one who goes to bed just like everyone else? Sheynnis responded “none, the title and the crown don’t make me different, they don’t make me opt for a different personality, why would I opt for a character.”
Palacios argued her question by stating that being an authentic woman was what led her to win the crown. She also mentioned that those are the elements that Miss Universe looks for in a beauty queen: transparency, authenticity, reality.

The presenter Emilio Vallesvidrio, He questioned Sheynnis about the importance of beauty pageantsto which the beauty responded that these platforms allow women to empower themselves but to be a beauty queen you need to meet a standard to carry that message.
“It’s like applying for a job, they must qualify you to win that job, and that job carries a responsibility and it is carrying a message around the world…” said Palacios.
The journalist and host of said program, Fernanda Familiar, praised the universal beauty for being committed to mental health, as well as bringing the message of female empowerment to women around the world.

Sheynnis will present the crown to her successor on November 16 in Mexico City, where 130 women from around the world will compete to wear the Miss Universe 2024 sash.
